Since news broke that the 50-year-old Yonkers, N.Y. native was rushed to the hospital in “grave condition” on Saturday (April 3) after suffering a heart attack reportedly triggered by alleged drug overdose, celebrities from the music industry and beyond have been praying for his recovery.
The legendary rapper is currently in critical condition at White Plains Hospital in New Jersey, according to Rolling Stone. X’s attorney Murray Richman had told PIX11 News on Saturday afternoon that the rapper had been taken off life support and was breathing on his own, but later clarified to Rolling Stone that he was “given wrong information” and that X remains on life support as of Saturday night.

Fox5 New York’s Lisa Evers was at the scene Sunday, and posted video of the bikers arriving at the hospital.
In the footage, DMX’s music can be heard playing in the background, while that some of those gathered were wearing Ruff Ryders gear.
DMX has been in the hospital since Friday, and is currently in a “vegetative state,” according to his manager, Nakia Walker. “We’re just praying,” Walker told the New York Times.
