Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Meek Mill & Others Reacts to missing Titanic Submarine

Nicki Minaj says she’s praying for the missing submarine passengers.

Missing Titanic sub: OceanGate reaction from Celebs

Celebs react to billionaires who went missing during Titanic trip.

This past weekend, a 6-foot submarine carrying five passengers embarked on a journey to see the shipwrecked RMS Titanic. Unfortunately, the tiny vessel lost contact with the mothership, and multiple search and rescue efforts are underway to locate the group before they run out of oxygen.

As of now the story is currently making headlines of the missing submarine containing a group of billionaires who went to see the Titanic is currently one of the biggest topics in the world. As previously reported on Sunday (June 18), five people paid approximately $250,000 each to see the historic 1912 shipwreck. However, less than two hours after going underwater, they were never heard from again.

The entire nation, major news station is covering the topic, and it's trending all over social media. Celebs are now speaking out about it — Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Comedia’s Lil Duval and Karlous Miller, Meek Mill.

According to CNN’s ongoing live update, “The submersible, known as ‘Titan,’ begins each trip with 96 hours of life support and has been missing since Sunday, setting up Thursday morning as a key target for finding the vessel and those on board.

“The US Coast Guard rerouted some of its equipment to try to pinpoint banging sounds heard during the aerial search Tuesday and Wednesday morning in the remote North Atlantic area. Though it didn’t yield any results, the sonar devices from the Canadian P-3 aircraft are being analyzed by the US Navy, officials said Wednesday.”

After learning the stepson of British billionaire Hamish Harding—who is one of the passengers on the missing Titanic sub—went to a Blink-182 concert recently, Cardi took to Instagram to set him straight.

“Ay so one of the billionaires that's missing underwater, on the submarine shit... One of the billionaires, they stepson is at a concert, right, a Blink-182 concert” Cardi B said.

During a recent episode of her Queen Radio show, Minaj talked about the search and rescue operation for the OceanGate Expeditions — except she hadn’t heard the full story. “No one should be hopping they a** on a submarine talking ’bout they going down to the Titanic,” she said during a live broadcast of her “Queen Radio” show. While she did offer up support, adding, “I’m keeping all five passengers in my prayers and wishing all the best to search and rescue teams,” the “Super Freaky Girl” did get a bit of backlash.

In a since-deleted tweet, which she later posted a screenshot of anyway.

Minaj clarified her previous statements. “Praying they make it back to their families. This is so scary [and] should not be allowed. Like, [what the f**k]? I just assumed they were marine biologists… finding out this was a ‘tourist’ ‘Titanic’ thing?” she tweeted in a post and delete that evening. After removing the message, the “Starships” hitmaker shared a poll on Twitter asking if she should repost her statement. After receiving votes, Minaj uploaded a screenshot of her original tweet.

Meek also chimed in on the missing submarine, He questioned the media coverage of the Titanic submersible because he just can’t make sense of it going missing.

“I can’t see a wealthy man doing this with no extreme back up plans….with your son, not saying it’s fake but the way y’all run the same clips in media not even working on the average minds anymore,” Meek tweeted on Wednesday, June 21, in response to an unverified update that the submersible had “less than 22 hours of oxygen left” for passengers trapped inside. “All types of stuff going on in the world y’all headlining with no real info lol”
