Offset’s and Cardi B Jealousy video brings 2001’ ”Baby Boy“ vibes.
On Friday (July 28), Offset and Cardi B released new song with visual “Jealousy” the duo’s are here to put the rumors to rest. Appearing to spin-off Offset’s since-deleted social media post last month in which he claimed Cardi cheated on him (she posted a clip in response). The collab samples Three 6 Mafia track “Jealous Ass Bitches.”
‘Jealousy’ seems to suggest that outside parties need to focus on their own affairs. “You offended when I be on defense,” Cardi raps. “They too worried ‘bout me and my n—a / You should worry about that n—a yours sleep with, mm.” The cover art for the track shows Cardi pushing Offset away in an homage to Jody and Yvette’s infidelity-marked relationship in the 2001 movie Baby Boy. Taraji P. Henson, who played Yvette, even makes a cameo in the music video (as do all of Offset’s children).

Baby Boy was Tyrese Gibson's first movie role alongside Taraji P. Henson who played his baby mama Yvette — the chaotic life of 20-year-old Joseph “Jody” Summers.
In addition to Tyrese, the film also starred Omar Gooding, and Ving Rhames.
