Diddy reportedly has reached a settlement with Cassie one day after she filed a lawsuit accusing him of rape, sexual, and physical assault.

As previously reported, The R&B singer filed a lawsuit against him, accusing the hip-hop mogul of rape and years of abuse. According to The New York Times, both sides reached an agreement to come to a resolution on the case on Friday, however, the details of the settlement were not disclosed.

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie said, per the NYT. “I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs said in a statement. “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love”

They disclosed no details about the terms of the settlement, but resolving the matter means the father of seven escapes a possible trial and Cassie avoids a potential cross-examination by his attorneys.

In the lawsuit that Cassie, 37, filed against her ex, she accused him of raping her, physically abusing her, forcing her to have sex with male prostitutes as he watched and masturbated and introducing her to alcohol and drugs.
