Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar & 50 Cent Wins Emmy for Super Bowl Show


The star-studded Pepsi, the NFL and Roc Nation for the memorable lineup of performers featuring Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and more, earned a Creative Arts Emmy Award.

Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and special guest 50 Cent won Emmy for Super Bowl performance.


On Saturday (September 3), According to a tweet from the Television Academy, the six Hip Hop/R&B legends took home the gilded trophy in both the Outstanding show, which drew in 103 million viewers. Variety Special (Live) and Outstanding Production Design for a Variety Special categories for the West Coast-themed event that went down in February.

The highly anticipated 2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show curated by Dr. Dre took place on February 13 was held at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium, as the Los Angeles Rams played the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Rams defeat the Bengals 23-20.


In addition to winning a Creative Arts Emmy, the show is also nominated for five Primetime Emmys at the upcoming ceremony scheduled for September 12.


“I am nervous, man. Jay is watching,” Executive Producer Jesse Collins said while accepting the prize, referring to Jay-Z. “First on behalf of the fellow executive producers and our performers, we would like to thank the television academy for this incredible honor. It’s amazing. This is the first time this show has ever won this award and it’s so incredible to be a part of this moment. It took an incredible team to pull this together and I thank you all.”
