Drake has confirmed his long-teased, upcoming album Certified Lover Boy‘s release date, Following last week’s glitchy promo during ESPN‘s SportsCenter.

Drizzy confirmed that his sixth studio album will drop Friday, Sept 3. and has revealed the cover art for his long-awaited album Certified Lover Boy. The artwork was designed by famed artist Damien Hirst and features 12 pregnant woman emojis in various skin tones and shirt colors, inspired by Hirst’s signature spot paintings.
He confirmed in an Instagram post Monday morning (August 30). The post features the official album cover, too, according to Tidal’s chief content officer Elliott Wilson.
The image is of the twelve pregnant woman emoji, repeated twelve times, Appears to have been designed by British artist Damien Hirst, who Drake tagged in his Instagram announcement post.
The follow-up to 2018’s Scorpion has been a long time coming. by the end of summer.
The drop date was revealed in a cryptic clip during ESPN’s SportsCenter program last week. The broadcast was briefly interrupted by a glitchy promo that was made to appear like it was a hack, as it featured distorted vocals and grainy imagery, including some shots of a piece of paper that read: “CLB September 3.”
