Coming 2 America First Look: James Earl Jones Says It's 'the Perfect Time' to 'Return to Zamunda!'
Thirty-two years after Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall became movie royalty in Coming to America, Prince Akeem and his trusty friend Semmi are reuniting in the first look at Coming 2 America, which arrives March 5, 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.
"My favouite part of reuniting with the cast of Coming to America was making a movie that's as good as the first one. Getting everybody together... and making a really great movie, that’s my favourite part," enthused Murphy.
The sequel's cast is rounded out by Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, KiKi Layne, Tracy Morgan, Jermaine Fowler, Bella Murphy, Rotimi, Nomzamo Mbatha and Teyana Taylor.

They look sort of amazing. Older, sure, but not that much older. But Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall are but only two of the actors who will be returning for the sequel. Most of the major cast members from the first movie will be back in some capacity, including James Earl Jones, as Akeem's father the king of Zamunda.
