Elon Musk’s considering stepping down as Twitter CEO and Snoop Dogg wants to take his spot


Elon Musk launched a Twitter poll, asking users to vote on whether he could continue as CEO of microblogging platform. Over 57% of respondents have said yes.

Nearly one million vote for Snoop Dogg to run Twitter after he mimics Musk poll

Snoop Dogg has announced to run Twitter, accruing hundreds of thousands of votes in an online poll urging the West Coast legend to take over from Elon Musk.


Snoop Dogg has posted a poll on Sunday (December 18), Asking twitter users if he should run the platform. The poll was launched on Sunday evening and there are still about 13 hours left for users to choose from “Yes” and “No”. Snoop’s poll has already received more than 1.2 million votes, with a staggering 81 per cent of the respondents saying Yes. Musk’s has already launched a poll asking users to vote on whether he could continue as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Twitter.


The poll has now ended, with over 17 million votes. Nearly 57 percent of users voted in favour of Musk stepping down as head of Twitter, while around 42 percent of users who participated in the poll voted for him to remain as Twitter CEO. Mr Musk has said that he will abide by the results of the poll.



 

“Should I run Twitter ?” Snoop Dogg asked his followers early on Sunday morning.


Within 10 hours of writing the tweet, he had already accumulated more than one million votes and an overwhelming “Yes” result of 81.8%.

Elon Musk’s has not yet commented on whether he will definitively step down as head of Twitter.
