For any Lil Wayne fan, Sept. 27 is a special day: it’s Dwayne Michael Carter Jr birthday (born September 27, 1982).This time around, Wayne turns the big 39.
The New Orleans rhymer and Young Money founder celebrates his 39th birthday on Monday, 5 Grammy-award winner has become one of the most successful and critically acclaimed rappers of his era, specifically hanging an extremely dominant run on the late 00s and early 2010s. Wayne’s career has already touched four decades.
His verses hold up, in part because he focused so heavily on delivering rapid-fire punchlines in his rhymes, in a manner that has inspired rappers after him: Drake, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, and Big Sean, to name a few. As he is now cemented as a rap veteran.
Lil Wayne rose to stardom calling himself “the best rapper alive.” Since then, he’s inspired a whole generation of rappers who refer to him as “the GOAT.”

In 2021 Weezy's is still releasing bangers. Back in August, Young Money president Mack Maine revealed that Wayne was working on three projects including a collaborative album with Rich the Kid, dropping this week.
