Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant is a big NBA YoungBoy fan’ but apparently social media believes the New Orleans rapper is most to blame for Morant’s mishaps.

Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy Connection Continues for Ja Morant

JA Morant has been suspended by the Grizzlies.

Just two months Ja’ was suspended by the NBA for brandishing a gun on social media, Twelve is once again making headlines for the wrong reasons.

Ja Morant seems to be enjoying the offseason. After the Grizzlies elimination from the NBA playoffs by the LA Lakers, the Grizzlies star was filmed enjoying himself at a club to the tunes of NBA YoungBoy.

Unfortunately, JA’s actions off the court capture more attention than his fantastic play on the hardwood. On Saturday (May 13), Ja Morant was seen flashing gun during his friend’s Instagram Live video. The passengers were seen turning up to NBA YoungBoy when the South Carolina-born ball player pulled out his gun. According to ESPN, the Memphis Grizzlies have suspended Morant from all team activities while they investigate the video.

Although Morant’s friend tried to quickly move the camera after seeing the weapon out, it was too late. This comes shortly after clips surfaced of Ja Morant standing on couches rapping NBA YoungBoy’s music in a club.

Check out the footage & influenced NBA YoungBoy comments below.

It's no secret that Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is a major NBA YoungBoy fan. Morant is always quoting YoungBoy's song "Fresh Prince of Utah" by yelling, "It's a parade inside my city, yeah!" Grizzlies players, broadcasters, and fans have all followed the movement, as the lyrics have become somewhat of a catch phrase for the team.
