Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who became a polarizing figure back in 2016, and last season for his protests during renditions of the national anthem.

He began protesting racial injustice and police brutality in America by sitting and then kneeling during the national anthem at NFL games, Colin Kaepernick remains out of a job.

Cole reflected on Kaepernick’s dedication to playing in the league again. “Imagine 5 straight years spent waking up every day to train at 5am, staying ready in hopes that some team would reach out with an opportunity, no matter how impossible that sounded most days,” Cole continued. “He probably finishing up today’s workout as I type this right now.”
