Jamie Foxx and Daughter Corinne Foxx announced to host new game show — just days after the actress confirmed her dad was out of the hospital.
Actor, Singer, Comedian and Father’ Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne, 29, reportedly to host new music game show. The Hollywood Reporter announced Monday (May 15), “WE ARE FAMILY coming 2024?”
The unscripted music-centric show will feature “non-famous relatives of celebrities performing duets with their hidden famous family member,” according to the report.
“We are thrilled to be developing ‘We Are Family’ with Jeff Apploff and our friends at FOX Entertainment,” Jamie and Corinne said in a statement Monday.
“We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we’ve had creating it when it premieres next year.” The 100 contestants will compete to win up to $100,000 by correctly guessing who the other mysterious celebrities are.
The father-daughter duo previously worked together hosting the music game show “Beat Shazam” for the last five seasons.
However, The news of Foxx, 55, returning to the public eye comes nearly a month after the “Day Swift” star was hospitalized after suffering a “medical complication” on April 11 while filming his new movie “Back in Action.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” Corinne shared at the time.
Nearly a month later, Jamie Foxx’s Daughter Corinne, 29, revealed that her dad “has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating,” via her Instagram Story on May 12.
“In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday,” she added while thanking his fans and followers for their “prayers and support.”
