“Ye” Bringing Larry Hoover Benefit Concert With Drake to Amazon Prime and IMAX
Amazon Music and Prime Video announced Tuesday that they will exclusively livestream the event starring "Ye," featuring Toronto rapper from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Thursday.
Amazon Music and Prime Video will exclusively live stream Kanye’s first headlining show in five years, with special guest Drake. The ‘Free Larry Hoover’ benefit. Hopes of bringing awareness to the Hoover case, which takes place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, will stream globally on Prime Video Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. PT, as well as on the Amazon Music app, and the Amazon Music Twitch channel.
According to a statement from Amazon, Kanye hopes to bring awareness to prison reform:
“I believe this event will not only bring awareness to our cause, but prove to people everywhere how much more we can accomplish when we lay our price aside and come together,” said Kanye.
In addition to the ‘Free Larry Hoover’ concert, the stage has been revealed. John Schreiber, a photojournalist, took to Twitter on Sunday to post a video of a construction crew building a mound-like structure at the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles.
