Kanye West aka Ye tells Big Boy in his most recent interview; he sees a lot of his mom in North West.
Kanye West says Momma West's speaks through daughter, North West.
YE feels as though his late mother Donda C. West speaks through 10-year-old North West.
In an interview with Big Boy, the artist formerly known as Kanye West said that he believes late mother Donda West has been sending him messages through his eldest daughter North.
While discussing about North West's upcoming album, Kanye said: “I remember sitting with North in Italy and playing her ‘Back to Me,’ and asking her, ‘What do you think about this line in the middle of the song?’ And I was like, ‘Do you think I should change this?’ And she’s like, ‘You know, it’s a good song.’ Sometimes I feel like my mom speaks through her.”
Continuing the spiritual theme of his comments, West added: “She’s like, ‘It’s a good song. This is just a banger. Like you gotta say what you feel.’ A lot of times when you go into the whole Jesus, devout… level religious, you have thoughts in your mind and that you hiding them from yourself.”
In 2007 of November, Donda West passed away due to complications from post-operation complications after plastic surgery.
Last week, Kanye’s eldest child revealed she was working on a solo album while performing with the rapper in Phoenix, AZ.
“I’ve been working on an album,” North told the audience. “Is (sic) called ‘Elementary School Dropout.'”
She explained her album is a nod to Kanye’s 2004 “The College Dropout” album.
