Michael Rapaport Accuses Kevin Durant of Threatening Him Over TNT Interview.
In the messages, Durant allegedly threatens the Cop Land star to a fight and even asks for his address at one point. One message also says “Your wife doesn’t even respect your b— a—." Durant has yet to respond to the claims but is known for attack trolls on social media. He will even go as far as make burner accounts to post about himself on Twitter.
Kevin Durant Allegedly Threatened 'Cop Land' Star Michael Rapaport
Michael Rapaport went to social media on Tuesday, (March 30) to reveal that an account that appears to be from the Brooklyn Nets star has been threatening him. Rapaport shared the news on his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
The post included screenshots from a series of private messages, allegedly exchanged between Rapaport and Durant around December 23, 2020.
[SWIPE Right]: "I receive threats and disgusting messages DAILY, but never in my wildest dreams did I think @KDTrey5 would be among them," Rapaport's Tuesday tweet said. "The (snake emoji) himself is now threatening me, bringing up my wife and wants to fight. This is supposed to be America's sweetheart right? #ImDaRealMVP".
In the post's attached screenshots, Durant seems pissed off by Rapaport's December 22, 2020 tweet. The tweet said, "KD seemed deeply in his feelings with the @NBAonTNT crew after the game. DAMNIT he's super sensitive about everything. Don't do the interview".
Durant, who goes by his initials KD, plays for the Brooklyn Nets. On December 22, 2020, the team beat the Golden State Warriors with a score of 125-99. Durant spoke to the cable network TNT in a post-game interview. Rapaport referenced the interview in his December 22, 2020 tweet.
The alleged December 23, 2020 text message exchange between the two men seemingly began with Durant showing Rapaport his critical tweet from the day before. Durant allegedly commented, "U a bitch."
