Fat Joe has apologized for comments he made about Lil Mo and Vita during his Verzuz against Ja Rule, but that still wasn't enough.
After Lil Mo calls for a more sincere apology from Fat Joe, Remy Ma steps in to de-escalate the tension.
During the show, On Tuesday night (Sept. 14), Ja Rule said to his opponent that it was “fucking pathetic” he had to bring Remy Ma out “to save you,” which prompted Joe to insult his choice of guests. “You got all those other dusty bitches out there,” said Fat Joe.
What Fat Joe is referring to is his comments during the Verzuz battle, in which he and Ja Rule were teasing each other about bringing out guests to help them out. Joe said, “Oh, you got all of them dusty bitches back there, Ja,” referring to Vita and Lil’ Mo, who were waiting backstage. The Bronx rhymer then added, “You had to go to the crack house to find them bitches.”
Later, Fat Joe, possibly alluding to Vita’s slender frame, told Ja, “You gotta feed these girls some food, Ja. My bitches is rich.
He then, apologized for comments he made about Lil Mo and Vita during his Verzuz against Ja Rule,
“Shout out to the ladies very sorry if i disrespected i love vida and lil Moe I’m super sorry love my sisters,” he tweeted.
After the Verzuz show, Lil 'Mo said that she was “disappointed” in Fat Joe’s remarks in the comment section of an Instagram post.

Remy Ma defended her brother Joe and reminded Lil Mo that it was just a battle, and Joe showed her and Vita love before the show. Rem also told Mo she should keep the drama off social media. In the message, Remy said,
“Lil Mo, stop it, you know damn well Joe, ain’t on it like that. First of all…you, V, Shanti- or nobody had came out yet. When he and Ja was going back and fourth, we didn’t know who was in the back. Second… I was in the car when you walked through the parking lot and he hugged you, showed you mad love as usual. No need for your followers to tell him anything, as someone that personally knows you, you can call my phone.”
