Lil Wayne joins Young Money artist Lucifena for “TYRANT”: Weezy spits bars on heavy metal song

Lil Wayne and Lucifena are connected through a collaborative song, titled “Tyrant.”

Lil Wayne recently introduced Lucifena, Young Money's first female rock artist, during his Young Money Radio podcast.

The first female rock artist who is signed to Young Money Entertainment released a music video on Friday (July 11) for “Tyrant,” which features Lil Wayne.

During her interview on Young Money Radio, Lil Wayne stated that he “met Lucifena in Los Angeles,” Wayne explained on his radio show. “I was listening to different types of music. I was vibing off the music, and then I heard Luci scream.”

Lil Wayne described the moment as a turning point, feeling an instant connection to her unique sound and energy. This encounter not only marked the beginning of their collaboration but also hinted at the potential for her to redefine the genre with her distinct style.

Wayne was impressed with what he heard, so he asked her to send some music, and when he received a song called “Tyrant,” Wayne said he liked it so much that he wanted to jump on it. So he asked Lucifena to send over the stems, and during the process of collaborating, he found out that she wasn't signed.

Lil Wayne happily extended an offer for her to join Young Money. Now, the deal is official, and their collaboration is out in the world, alongside a music video.
