Lil Wayne’ Weezy F to release New Theme track for Skip Bayless FS1’s ‘Undisputed’
Lil Wayne is expected to appear in a weekly segment on FS1 show ‘Undisputed’ with his friend Skip Bayless’ and Weezy has a new theme song, according to Bayless.
On Monday (August 7), Skip Bayless hopped on Twitter “X” to announce Lil Wayne’s new theme song for Undisputed. The pair is one step closer to their TV debut scheduled for later this month.
“Shot a video for the new theme song Lil Wayne wrote and recorded for the new Undisputed, launching August 28,” Skip wrote. “The song is called ‘Good Morning.’ Instant classic. Can’t wait for you to hear it.”
The new-look Undisputed premieres on Aug. 28.
The “No Mercy” joint by Lil Wayne has been the official theme song for Undisputed thus far, but he has now recorded a fresh new track that his co-host claims is “better than the original.”
Skip has been in search of a worthy debate partner ever since Shannon Sharpe left FS1's "Undisputed" in June, and he finally found that someone in NFL legend Richard Sherman, who already has a career in television, according to The New York Post.
Sherman, and Bayless reportedly had a two-hour meeting at The Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel last month.
The former Seattle Seahwaks cornerback will now appear in 50 to 100 episodes of "Undisputed" as part of a group of people that will debate Bayless.
Sherman will mostly make his appearances during the NFL season and will still continue working for Amazon Prime Video's "Thursday Night Football" studio show.
FS1 and Sherman have yet to put pen to paper, but both partied have reached an agreement, per The New York Post.
