Lil Wayne to drop the first single off of “Tha Carter VI” features Swizz Beatz and the late DMX


Lil Wayne has officially announced his upcoming single “Kant Nobody,” which features work from Swizz Beatz and the late DMX.

Weezy announces New Single with posthumous DMX verse entitled “Kant Nobody.”


The five-time GRAMMY-winning rapper took to Instagram to tease the collaborative effort and unveil the pre-save link, with the track released on February 23. Although unconfirmed, there are speculations that “Kant Nobody” will serve as the lead single of his highly-anticipated album, Tha Carter VI.


Swizz’ produced beat for the snippet bears a passing resemblance to DMX’s “N-ggaz Done Started Somethin” from his 1998 debut It’s Dark & Hell Is Hot. The similarity was noted by producer Dame Grease who commented, “Ohhh a remake to one my classics!! #VacantLot

Swizz Beatz has been producing world-beating hits for two decades, His discography includes DMX’s “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem,” T.I.’s “Bring Em Out” and Beyonce’s “Ring the Alarm,” among many, many others.
