Lil Wayne has finally released his long-awaited new album, Tha Carter VI — [stream] listen to it below.
On Friday at midnight (June 6), Released via Young Money/Republic Records, the 19-track LP features an array of high-profile guest stars including Big Sean, Machine Gun Kelly, 2 Chainz, Bono of U2, Kodak Black, Jelly Roll, Mannie Fresh and more.
Tha Carter VI is Wayne's first solo album since 2020’s Funeral and his first installment in tha Carter series since 2018's Tha Carter V. The series has resulted in several of Wayne's biggest songs including “Lollipop," “She Will,” “6 Foot 7 Foot,” “A Milli,” and more.
In April, Lil Wayne announced of his new album, sharing two images of its cover art. The artwork depicts a childhood photo of Tunechi, digitally altered to include the face tattoos he has today — a trend he began with 2008's Tha Carter III.
