LL Cool J, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige has been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 2021 class

Jay-Z, LL Cool J, and Mary J. Blige are amongst this year’s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Nominees.

Nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s class of 2021 are out and they include Kate Bush, Tina Turner, Chaka Khan, Fela Kuti, Iron Maiden, Devo, New York Dolls, The Go-Go’s, Carole King, Dionne Warwick, and Todd Rundgren. Inductees will be announced in May, with the ceremony taking place this fall at the Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

To be eligible for induction, a candidate must have released their first recording at least 25 years ago. Foo Fighters, The Go-Go’s, Iron Maiden, Jay-Z, Carole King (as a performer), Fela Kuti and Warwick are appearing on the ballot for the first time this year.
