Nas reminisces working with DMX in ‘Belly’ movie.
Nas says DMX “saw more love than 1,000 rappers put together.”
Queens Icon appeared on Desus & Mero on Showtime Sunday (October 17), Talked about his late friend ‘X’ and discussion about the importance of details in Nas’ storytelling.
“It'll never be the same because our brother is not here DMX rest in peace.” Nas said. “We formed a brotherhood.” Life Is What You Make It collaborator.
Nas on his emotional moment he had with ‘X’ while filming Belly. “I didn’t have to see him or he didn’t have to call me, but when we saw each other though, it was that! Even working on the film, we cried.
He added. “We were at the Tunnel doing a scene and I was like, ‘You feel that, bro?’ He was like, ‘Yeah.’ And he’s crying and now I’m crying. He was talking with that, ‘Grrr.’ I was like, ‘This man’s energy is something else.'”
