Offset has discussed his separation from Cardi B in the song “Move On” from his album, Kiari, released on Friday at midnight (August 22). This track concludes the album and represents a calm conclusion to his relationship with Cardi B, who filed for divorce in July 2024. In an interview with the Associated Press, Offset explained that "Move On" is about "moving on peacefully," highlighting that it's "a book that's closed."
Offset’s third studio album, "Kiari," includes collaborations with artists like John Legend, JID, and Gunna. Named after the rapper's birth name, the album delves into themes of moving on from past relationships and paying tribute to his late cousin and Migos member, Takeoff. This project succeeds his 2023 album, Set It Off, and features singles such as "Bodies" (featuring JID) and "Professional".
