Patrick Beverley apologized to Chris Paul after shoving him last night during Game 6

Report: Patrick Beverley is facing a suspension at the start of next season for shoving Chris Paul during game six.

Patrick Beverley Apologizes for Shoving Chris Paul: 'Emotions Got the Best of Me'

Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley was frustrated in Game 6 on Wednesday night. Unfortunately, he let his emotions get the best of him after shoving Chris Paul to the ground that led to an ejection late in the fourth quarter. Beverley won’t get away scot-free, either.

Patrick Beverley apologized on Thursday for shoving Suns star Chris Paul in the back in the fourth quarter of Game 6 of the Western Conference finals.

"@CP3 emotions got the best of me last night gang. My bad wasn’t meant for you. Congrats on making it to the Finals. Best of Luck," Beverley tweeted.

And according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, that might end up costing Beverley a few games when the 2021-22 season tips off.

“Beverley will face a suspension to start next season for that dangerous behind-the-back push, sources told Yahoo Sports,” Haynes wrote.
