NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios entered a new multi-year creative partnership with OG Snoop Dogg, Death Row Pictures production company
Snoop Dogg's partnership with NBCUniversal will expand into film, TV, sports, and more.
It was announced on Wednesday (April 23) that the West Coast legend has inked a deal with NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios. The deal expands Snoop’s presence across film, television, streaming, and sports entertainment through his production company, Death Row Pictures.
This partnership deepens an already strong relationship. Snoop has appeared on NBC’s “The Voice” as a coach and recently served as a correspondent for NBC and Peacock’s 2024 Olympics coverage in Paris. Under the new deal, he’ll return to “The Voice” for Season 28 this fall. He also previously starred in a family docuseries, “Snoop’s Fatherhood: Cori and Wayne’s Story,” which aired on E! at the end of last year.
In addition to Snoop's NBCUniversal deal, the venture was described as a “new creative partnership” that will expand into film, television, sports, entertainment, and streaming.
“Audiences around the world love Snoop and connect with his unparalleled showmanship and artistry,” said NBCUniversal Entertainment & Studios Chairman Donna Langley in a statement. “Those of us lucky enough to be in his orbit also know his incredible business acumen, endlessly creative spirit, and the unapologetic authenticity that he brings to every project. There’s only one Snoop, and we’re so excited for him to join our unbelievable roster of creative partners.”
According to Snoop, he said. “Not everyone has the courage and vision to see what Death Row Pictures can bring to the table, but Donna and the NBCUniversal team have always understood, which is why I am proud to call NBCUniversal my new home. The Dogg has officially moved into the neighborhood, ya dig?”
