Snoop Dogg, Marla Gibbs, Lil Rel Howery And More To Star In New Comedy Show ‘Bromates’

New Comedy Show Is In the works Exec Produced By Snoop Dogg ‘Bromates’

“The Jeffersons” star Marla Gibbs, Lil Rel Howery and Josh Brener have been roped in to headline a comedy feature titled Bromates, which is set to be executive produced by The West Coast rap legend and actor Snoop Dogg.

According to Deadline, The film revolves around two best friends who break up with their girlfriends at the same time and decide to move in with each other. The film may even have an underlying social message, selling the usage of photo voltaic power and accountable environmental administration.

Lil Rel Howery and Josh Brener are co-leading the comedy feature film Bromates.

Taryn Manning (Orange Is the New Black), Marla Gibbs (The Jeffersons), Brendan Scannell (Bonding), Asif Ali (WandaVision), Jessica Lowe (Minx), Flula Borg, (The Suicide Squad), Ken Davitan (Borat) and Jamie Brewer (American Horror Story) also star in the comedy.

Bromates is slated for a release in 2022.

From writer and director Court Crandall, “Bromates was initially conceived as what would happen if you took today’s complicated environment of dating and social media and combined it with The Odd Couple,” said Crandall. “Our goal was to make a big raucous comedy, but at the same time give it a contemporary flair that made it more inclusive.”

Christopher Kemper, who co-wrote the film, will also produce alongside Nicholas Tabarrok.
