T.I. Responds To Being Booed During His Comedy Set At The Barclays Center
Tip was on the lineup for Power 105.1's April Fools Comedy Jam, which took place yesterday (April 9) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
On April 9, April Fools Comedy Jam made its way to Brooklyn at the Barclays Center, featuring comedians Rip Micheals, Nick Cannon, HaHa Davis, Eddie Griffin, B. Simone, Tony Roberts, Bruce Bruce, Michael Blackson, Joe Torry, and Jacob Williams, plus performances by Lil’ Kim, T.I., Moneybagg Yo, and music by DJ Envy.
Clips from April Fools event, it shows T.I. hitting the stage not to perform, but to do comedy. Apparently, the crowd wasn’t really into it, giving him boos during his act.
After clips of T.I being booed during his comedy set at the Barclays Center began surfacing, the Bankhead rapper turned comedian went live with Michael Blackson to explain what really happened.
He later ended with “Swagga Like Us” cut-off teased and got everyone in Barclays Center laughing. “I wish I muthaf**kin' would, you sorry ungrateful muthaf**kas you”
T.I. later addressed seemingly bombing onstage while on Instagram Live with comedian Michael Blackson. When asked by Blackson if he enjoyed being booed, the ATL lyricist admitted, "Yes. I loved it. He added, "I didn't feel like they was booing me... I felt like they was booing me as like, 'I dare you to be more funny. I dare you to be more funny. I dare you to overcome this. I dare you to do better.' I felt like that's what they were challenging me to do and I did it."
