According to Daily News Tory's lawyer Shawn Holley appeared on his behalf in L.A. County court to enter the plea in the case. After a Los Angeles judge previously ordered Lanez to stay 100 yards away from Megan and surrender any firearms.

Lanez, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, was charged last month with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.

Peterson maintained his innocence, tweeting shortly after he was charged, "[Time] will [Tell] ... and the truth will come to the light ... I have all faith in God to show that ... love to all my fans and people that have stayed true to me & know my heart ... a charge is not a conviction. If you have supported me or meg thru this, I genuinely appreciate u."
