Update: Charges have not been dropped against Tory Lanez in connection with the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
After the circulation of a screenshot from an LA County Court website, fans suspected that the charges were dropped because it showed no forthcoming court dates for Lanez. However, a representative of the LA County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that a court date is now set for February 25, a change from the originally reported hearing date of January 20.
