Will Smith and Martin Lawrence celebrates 26th anniversary of ‘Bad Boys’ today


In celebration of 'Bad Boys' 26th anniversary, the action-comedy: “When we say ‘FOR LIFE’ we mean it,” Smith wrote on Instagram.

Bad Boys turns 26 today



The inaugural Bad Boys co-starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence first aired on April 7, 1995. Hopping on Instagram exactly 26 years later, Smith on Wednesday with a shout out to his co-star, Martin Lawrence.


The first Bad Boys film was a box office hit raking in more than $140 million. The 2003 sequel nearly doubled the numbers of its predecessor.

Lawrence and Smith reprised their in 2020 roles as detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Barnett in Bad Boys for Life, which grossed $425 million worldwide.


'Bad Boys 4' in the Works. It appears Sony has two major sequels on deck: Bad Boys 4 and National Treasure 3.


However, No details on what story the fourth film will tell, although the open ending of the third film all but suggested that the franchise would continue.
