Wiz Khalifa Is Down To Do A Verzuz Against Lil Wayne: “I think that would be fun”

Pittsburgh-bred rapper Wiz Khalifa has revealed he'd love to go toe to toe with Lil Wayne in a Verzuz battle.

Wiz Khalifa says Battling Lil Wayne in a ‘Verzuz’ would be fun: ‘performance wise’

Wiz Khalifa wants to have a Verzuz battle with Lil Wayne.

During a Shade 45 interview with DJ Superstar Jay shared on Thursday (December 22), Wiz named Weezy as his ideal Verzuz opponent – although his reasons were based more on the performance than the competition aspect.

“I think that would be fun, yeah. Because Wayne is a really dope performer,” the Taylor Gang CEO said. “Me and him going back and forth performing bangers? That shit’d be hard! And we’d both smoke hella weed. I think that would be more of a concert than a Verzuz.”

You can check out Wiz Khalifa’s Verzuz suggestion below:

In addition to Wiz Khalifa potential verzuz with Weezy, they both have collided on a few tracks like “Sucker For Pain”, “Living Right”, “Work Hard Play Hard” (Remix), etc. In the hits section, some might give Lil Wayne an upper hand as the Rapper just earned his first diamond certification with Lollipop plus he has a plethora of hits in his bag, on the other hand, Wiz Khalifa shouldn’t be counted out as well.

Back in November, Lil Wayne was recently asked about who he could see his entire Young Money roster in a Verzuz ring with. He named JAY-Z’s Roc-A-Fella.

“I would say the best competition, I would have to go with Roc-A-Fella,” Wayne answered. “JAY-Z the homie.”

Wayne also called Jay-Z the greatest rapper ever, and compared him to seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady.

“The greatest rapper of all time is Shawn ‘JAY-Z’ Carter,” Lil Wayne said. “When you do this rapping thing, obviously like football, every sport is different. You play hockey, I’m sure they got something that they only know about. Something that they probably can’t explain, but only they know. That thing in rap, that we only know in rap, he has that. He’s the Tom Brady of that.”
