Controversial YouTuber Kevin Samuels' cause of death revealed.
Relationship Guru’ Kevin Samuels reportedly died as a result of hypertension
Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has announced on Monday (July 18) the death of Kevin Samuels, the controversial social media personality who died in May at the age of 57.
According TMZ, the medical examiner's said Samuels’ death was “a result of hypertension,” with the death having been classified as one of natural causes. Notably mentioned in the TMZ report is Atenolol, a beta-blocker that is often prescribed for those with hypertension.
It was natural causes allegedly that led to Samuels’ passing, not foul play. The controversial social media star made headlines when he passed away on Cinco de Mayo while hanging out with a younger woman.
This development should put to rest any further speculation regarding his passing having been in any way suspicious. As previously reported, Samuels was with an unknown woman at the time of his death in May he started to complain about having chest pains. The woman “came to his apartment and spent the night with him.” He collapsed on top of her while she was attempting to help with his pain.
The report says the woman “requested the 911 operator to contact the front desk for a defibrillator to keep Mr. Samuels responsive until Grady arrived because she is a nurse.” The Atlanta police department has confirmed the identity of the man transported to Piedmont Hospital by Grady bus was Kevin Samuels.
Samuels’ death first started to spread across social media in May, with the influencer’s mother later revealing this was how she learned of her son’s passing.
“That was a terrible thing for social media to put that out,” she told NBC News at the time. “I didn’t even know.
May he continue to rest peacefully.
