21 Savage calls Nas “irrelevant” on clubhouse when discussing 90's rappers

21 Savage argues that the Queens legend Nasir “NAS” Jones isn't relevant on Clubhouse.

“21” was recently a guest in a Clubhouse chat where the Atlanta was caught giving remarks on New York legend Nas. The topic of the conversation was Rap music from the 90s still being relevant or not.

“N!***s saying all that longevity talk, name somebody from back then who can drop an album right now?” asked the co-host to which a lot of names come up like Jay-Z, Too Short, E-40, Scarface among others.

Reacting to Grammy award winner, name who just dropped the third installment of his King’s Disease last Friday, 21 remarked “He’s not relevant he just has a loyal fanbase. He still makes good music. In a shocking reaction, someone asked to “Wait what do you mean by relevancy? to which the response from the co-host was “Mostly Connected or appropriate to what’s being done to be considered”

Listen to both Clubhouse sessions below.

Last year, Nas finally received long-awaited first victory at the Grammys for Best Rap Album with King’s Disease in 2021.

Nas, 49 rap veteran released five albums since 2018 which includes “Nasir” executive produced by Kanye West, three installments of “King’s Disease” all produced by Hit-Boy, and last year’s surprise drop “Magic”. Except for Nasir, every album mentioned above has been received very well by fans and most have them have reached number one on the US iTunes charts upon release.
