50 Cent and director Alexandria Stapleton have a new four-part documentary about Sean Combs: The Reckoning, includes exclusive footage of Diddy that was reportedly recorded by his own team before his arrest in September 2024. The footage features Diddy in a phone conversation with his legal team and a clip of him interacting with fans, which the documentary uses to portray Diddy's character. Diddy's team has stated that the footage was never authorized for release and questions how the documentary acquired it.

50 Cent serves as an executive producer on the project.

The documentary includes never-before-seen footage of Diddy from the days leading up to his September 2024 arrest.

Clips show Diddy on a phone call with his lawyers, imploring them to "find somebody that'll work with us, that has dealt in the dirtiest of dirty business" because "We're losing!". Another clip shows him greeting fans in Harlem before making a comment about needing hand sanitizer after being "amongst the people".

The footage was reportedly filmed by Diddy's own team for a separate, unfinished documentary project, according to Forbes and The New York Times.

Diddy's team has claimed the footage was used without authorization and is raising questions about how it was accessed, as reported by Complex and The New York Times.
