Timberwolves and Lynx Chief Operating Officer Ryan Tanke expressed his excitement to be partnering with both 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) and his award-winning wine and spirits company.

“We are excited to launch this partnership with Sire Spirits and to introduce Wolves fans to Sire’s award-winning cognac and champagne,” Tanke said in a statement. “Moreover, Curtis’ commitment through his G-Unity Foundation aligns with our community programming to not only grow the game of basketball, but cultivate and foster life skills for our local youth.”

50 added: “I had the opportunity to meet with the Timberwolves and knew they were the perfect partners for Sire Spirits. I am a big fan of the team, and I am excited to spend more time in Minnesota and get to know all the fans.”

The NY, Queens mogul also hyped up the partnership on Instagram, writing: “@timberwolves are now official partners with @bransoncognac, @lecheminduoi, and @gunityfoundation. Champagne is ready to go for Playoffs @arod, @marclore.”

This is now the fourth NBA team 50 Cent has partnered with following the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers.

Fifty also has ink similar deals in place with the NFL’s Houston Texas and MLB’s Houston Astros. The Queens, New York native moved to H-Town two years and has already been awarded the key to the city for his philanthropic and entrepreneurial efforts in the city.

“Since I moved to Houston in January 2021, the love shown to me by this city has inspired me to make a positive and long-lasting impact in the community,” 50 said at a ceremony last November. “My investment in the Houston Rockets and their investment back into my charitable endeavors makes this partnership all the more special for me. I’m excited for what the future holds.”
