Updated: Jan 5, 2023

Boosie Badazz goes off on Fox Sports’ Skip Bayless following his Damar Hamlin tweet.

Boosie BadAzz Snaps on Skip Bayless: “If that was [Tom Brady] you wouldn't have said that ignorant as shit”

Boosie Badazz has some words for Skip Bayless aka “Water Pistol Jr”

The Baton Rouge rap veteran has gone off on Undisputed host Skip Bayless for his controversial comments following the horrifying injury to Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.

Boosie went after Bayless in a Twitter rant on Wednesday (January 4) calling for the Fox Sports host to be “canceled” as Hamlin remains hospitalized in critical condition in Cincinnati.

“SKIP BAYLESS YOU A BITCH N YOU A RACIS BITCH IF THAT WAS TOM BRADY YOU WOULDNT HAVE SAID THAT IGNORANT AS SHIT CANCEL THAT BITCH,” Boosie wrote.

N.O.R.E. also blasted Skip Bayless online. “Skip bay less will keep his job!!!” the Drink Champs co-host tweeted.

“Meanwhile we always tear each other down why? Imma fan of skip but I was equally offended fuck him!!!

On Monday (January 2) Skip received severe backlash for an insensitive tweet asking if the NFL was postponing the game immediately following the injury to Hamlin, which saw medics perform CPR on the 24-year-old as he laid on the field needing to be revived.

“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant,” Bayless wrote.

Bayless sent the following tweet nearly an hour later:

He attempted to clarify the meaning behind his tweet during Tuesday's show.

Co-host Shannon Sharpe, an NFL Hall-of-Famer, was noticeably absent from Tuesday episode and there’s speculation it was tied to Skip’s viral tweet. He returned to the show on Wednesday (January 4).

On Wednesday, in his return to the Undisputed, Sharpe opened the show explaining why what happened to Hamlin on Monday hit close to home for him. He recalled seeing his brother, former NFL wide receiver Sterling Sharpe, temporarily paralyzed during a game that ended his career.

Sharpe then addressed Skip’s infamous tweet, saying that he disagreed with it and hoping that he would take it down, which led to the long-time journalist inappropriately interrupting Sharpe and arguing about the incident, which then got more heated than viewers may have expected.

“Timeout. I'm not gonna take it down," Skip Bayless interjected. “Because I stand by what I tweeted.”

Sharpe was so frustrated by Bayless' interruption, he couldn't continue. “I can't even get through a monologue without you interrupting me,” he shot back.
