Chris Rock reportedly upset with Slap Scene in ‘Bad Boys 4,’ calls it a ‘Cheap Stunt’

Chris Rock is reportedly not pleased with Will Smith’s new movie, Bad Boys: ‘Ride or Die’.

The comedian thinks Will Smith including nod to Oscars Slap in ‘Bad Boys 4’ Is a ‘Cheap Stunt’

Chris Rock is reportedly not pleased with Will Smith’s new movie, Bad Boys: ‘Ride or Die’.

Will Smith says he’s changed after the infamous Oscars ‘slap’ in 2022. But his latest movie, “Bad Boys 4: Ride or Die”, which is a box office hit, just reignited tensions with Chris Rock, who was on the receiving end of the ‘slap’.

In recent reports, Chris Rock is not over being slapped by Smith at the Oscars. In the new film, there is a “slap scene” in which Rock says it’s “reminiscent” of the Oscars incident.

“Chris thinks it’s a pretty cheap stunt and he’s telling people how lame he finds it,” A source close to Rock says, “It’s a classic case of Will making light of a horrific situation. Will’s playing the victim. It was the lowest point of his career, but that’s no excuse.”

The source added, “It aggravates him that people keep bringing it up. He suffered as much as Will has and now Will has turned it into a funny scene in his movie. As far as Chris is concerned, it’s more proof that Will’s a total piece of work who deserves all the crap he’s gotten.”

Chris Rock “finds Will’s attention seeking nauseating,” according to the source. “It aggravates him that people keep bringing it up. He suffered as much as Will has and now Will has turned it into a funny scene in his movie. As far as Chris is concerned, it’s more proof that Will’s a total piece of work who deserves all the crap he’s gotten. Chris isn’t going to let it go. If there’s a way to get back at Will down the line, he’ll take it.”

The Bad Boys movies have now grossed more than $1 billion:

The film hit theaters on June 7 and became the first movie to jolt Hollywood’s summer box office, grossing $106 million at the global box office from a $100 million production budget (not accounting for the price of the splashy world tour to promote the film). To date, the movie has made $227 million worldwide, bringing the “Bad Boys” franchise’s box office above $1 billion globally.
