The legendary actor and comedian, Chris Tucker, toured MJ’s childhood residence and the Jackson 5 mural.

The comedian joined Marlon and Jackie Jackson at Michael Jackson's childhood home to celebrate his 67th birthday with a block party
Chris Tucker took a trip to Michael Jackson’s birthplace in Gary, Indiana, to honor what would have been the King of Pop's 67th birthday.
On Friday (August 29), the actor-comedian was present for the opening day of Jackson's weekend birthday celebration and the 300 Jackson Street Block Party. Also in attendance were MJ's mother, Katherine Jackson, and his brothers, Marlon and Jackie Jackson, members of the Jackson 5.
At the ceremony, Tucker performed a dance to Jackson's 2001 hit "Rock My World," almost 25 years after appearing in the music video.
During the event, the actor from Rush Hour also posed for photos with Marlon and Jackie and stopped by the Jackson 5 mural in downtown Gary.
"At the Jackson’s childhood home in Gary, Indiana!. With Jackie and Marlon Jackson!. On Michael’s Jackson birthday celebration day in Gary!!.🙏🏾😀❤️🎉🎂" Tucker captioned an Instagram post.
Chris Tucker frequently pays tribute to his late friend on social media, particularly around his birthday. Last year, he joined DC Young Fly in dancing and singing to MJ's "Rock With You" at a celebrity golf tournament in Atlanta.
In a statement, Gary Mayor Eddie Melton described the block party as a "tribute to the origins of greatness that began right here in our city."
"We honor the Jacksons not just for their global impact, but for the pride and inspiration they continue to give the people of Gary. This weekend is a reminder that world-changing talent can rise from our very own neighborhoods," he continued.
The late Tito Jackson, a former member of the Jackson 5 who passed away last September at the age of 70, was also honored with a special tribute during the festival on Saturday, August 30.
