Dame Dash does not permit himself to become the butt of the joke.

The entrepreneur, aged 54, has recently announced his intention to file a lawsuit against The Breakfast Club following their chaotic viral interview on September 16.

The Roc-A-Fella co-founder was featured on Cam Capone News and discussed what he thought was a deliberate smear campaign. “I’m suing The Breakfast Club, but I also sent a demand letter to [pause] the Chris Brown lawyer and everyone that was in that whole circle and scene,” Dame stated. He then explained his reasoning, which admittedly had some flaws.

“The thing is, we on the radio. So if you say I got dirty sneakers, playing or not, they can’t see it,” Dame added. “Then they’re going to think I got on dirty sneakers. It’s going to get into the algorithm. ‘Dame has on dirty sneakers.’ I don’t want to hear that when I got on new sneakers.” It's important to mention that The Breakfast Club provides video footage of their interviews along with the audio, making it easy to debunk the dirty sneakers story.

The Harlem native also expressed concerns about the difference in treatment between himself and conservative commentator Ben Shapiro on the show. “Someone that triggers our culture constantly. They gave him the utmost respect,” Dame said. “They let him talk.” In recent history, Dash has responded to his adversaries through social media and interviews, but he is now dedicated to taking legal action against anyone who offends him.

“The people that have been f**king with me, and I think it’s been illegal the way they’ve been f**king with me, I’m not going to take it to the street,” he said before revealing an odd inspiration for his new attitude. “I’m not in the street. I look at what President Donald Trump does. He sues people.”

However, Dame couldn't entirely avoid the internet, as he responded to Charlamagne Tha God in an Instagram clip from his show Bosses Take Losses. “Why would they give another culture more respect than their own?” Dame asked in the caption. “I just dont understand. Smh @cthagod Are they paying you to do it? Either you hate us or someone is paying you do to it. Allegedly. #Stop tearing your own culture down challenge.”
