DDG receives massive support from the streaming community following ex Halle Bailey’s assault allegations

The streaming community rallied behind DDG following Halle Bailey’s restraining order against him. Here’s what we know so far.

Halle Bailey filed a restraining order against ex DDG

DDG hopped on via Twitter X, says he has “no worries” following recent assault allegations made by his ex-girlfriend, singer and actress Halle Bailey.

Bailey has accused streamer and rapper DDG of physical, emotional and verbal abuse during their two-year-relationship, which ended in October 2024. In legal filings, Bailey alleges that DDG assaulted her in January 2025, resulting in a chipped tooth and bruises.

Halle also claims that he entered her home without permission in March and sent her a threatening message. Bailey has provided photographic evidence of her injuries and has been granted a temporary restraining order against DDG, which mandates he stay at least 100 yards away from her and their 17-month-old son, Halo, until a court hearing scheduled for June 6, 2025.

The streamer seemingly found out that Halle Bailey was granted a restraining order against him during a stream with Adin Ross. The YouTuber, rapper, and streamer has previously expressed frustration about the custody situation of their child. Recently, he said he's six months celibate and is enjoying the single life.

DDG's brother admitted that his brother's situation was making him “hella emotional,” claiming that the rapper-turned-streamer is unable to see his son Halo as much as he'd like to. “That’s why my brother’s on till he goes to sleep,” Dub said, adding that it's “lowkey f*cking him up.”

His mother, Tonya, also responded to the allegations. “I don’t usually comment or say anything on this internet even with all the negativity, the lies, and hatred toward mine,” she began, per The Shade Room. “However, these accusations have made me realize that I have been quiet too long.”
