Drake and Rick Ross are reportedly working on a joint album

According to former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson, Drake and Rick Ross are working on a collaboration project.

Drake and Rick Ross joint album is allegedly in the works

Rap Caviar Twitter account tweeted, "Drake and Ross been cooking up for a decade, what's their best collab?"

Ochocinco then weighed in with his own retweet, responding with some seemingly inside info. "The joint album they’re doing together [will] unseat all projects they’ve done to date," the retired Miami Dolphins football player replied, along with a hush emoji.

While the claim is unconfirmed, this would not be the first time Drake and Ross have sparked rumors of a joint effort. Their YOLO Tape was never released, but Ross didn’t rule out a future project with Drizzy.

Drake and Ross added to their history of collaborations on Friday (March 5) with the release of their “Lemon Pepper Freestyle,” one of three songs on Drake’s Scary Hours 2 EP. Their collaboration seemed to be the standout track, according to social media users who revisited their past work together and hoped for future collaborations.

“Fuck it, I want a Drake Rozay tape,” tweeted journalist Elliott Wilson. “CLB (Certified Lover Boy) me in Sept. We’ll wait. Ha!”
