Did Drake copped the original 2Pac Death Row Chain?

Drizzy posted a close-up of 2Pac’s legendary chain that has “All Eyez on You 1996” engraved in the back.

The post featured the caption, “COPENHAGEN NIGHT ONE LESSSGO,” but did not mention 2Pac, allowing the visuals to convey the message. This isn't the first instance of Drake honoring a hip-hop icon through a notable purchase. He had previously acquired the gold and ruby crown ring famously worn by 2Pac for over $1 million USD in 2023 at a Sotheby’s auction. The ring became a focal point in Drake and Kendrick Lamar‘s rivalry when the Compton rapper altered the lyrics of his diss track “Euphoria.” to call out the Toronto rapper, “Give me 2Pac ring back and I might give you a little respect.”

The chain initially appeared in photos of Tupac during the 1990s. This chain, a unique piece of hip-hop history, hasn't been publicly visible for a long time. Drake's recent post might indicate a new acquisition or a replica, as it was a teaser without additional information.

Check out Drizzy’s post below.

In 2023, Drake acquired a crown ring crafted from gold, ruby, and diamond for over $1 million at a Sotheby’s auction. A few days after anonymously winning the item, Drake disclosed that he was the purchaser of the hip-hop artifact by showcasing it in an Instagram Story.

Shortly thereafter, the ring was seen on Drake's finger during an episode of the popular interview series Sidetalk, which centered on the NYC strip club Starlet's.

When the conflict between Drake andKendrick Lamar escalated last summer, the ring became a focal point of discussion as the Compton rapper insisted that Drake return the ring.

During his performance at The Pop Out - Ken & Friends concert in June, K.Dot altered a lyric from his diss track “Euphoria” to mention Drake's possession of Tupac’s ring.

“Give me 2pac ring back and I might give you a little respect,” he rapped.

In 2020, Drake acquired two diamond chains showcasing images of 2Pac. The rapper gave fans a glimpse of these new pieces, each worth approximately $300,000 due to 70 carats of flawless white and natural yellow diamonds, in an Instagram Story.
