Drake has recently amended his lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG), implicating a wider range of entities and individuals.

Court documents made public on Monday revealed the latest development in Drake's defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group. The rapper is seeking to broaden his claims to specifically name several top executives. This filing is part of his larger case, which accuses UMG of intentionally promoting Kendrick Lamar's chart-topping diss track "Not Like Us," with provocative lyrics that Drake claims harmed his reputation.

According to AllHipHop, Drake’s complaint accuses UMG of harassment, defamation, and deceptive practices. He alleges that the company used "covert strategies" to increase the track's visibility while portraying him in a highly negative light. A particular line labels him as a "certified pedophile," which has ignited considerable discussion among fans and critics.

The revised lawsuit identifies executives whom Drake considers personally accountable. These include Ramon Alvarez Smikle, the executive vice president for digital marketing at Interscope; Jordan Bell, responsible for influencer and content campaigns; and Steve Berman, Interscope's president of marketing. Additional individuals mentioned are Anthony Bucher from Hitmaker Services Inc., Tiffany Bullock from Interscope, Jesse Collins from Roc Nation, and Kojo Menne Asamoah, who was served after multiple attempts. UMG's chief executive, Sir Lucian Grainge, is also named.
