Drake responds to Forever 21 memes following New dance album “Honestly, Nevermind”

The Toronto native latest body of work has brought about some very strong reactions and even Charlamagne Tha God, Soulja Boy had something to say about it.

Drake memes are currently going viral after the release of Drizzy's seventh studio album Honestly, Nevermind, which predominately showcases a foundational dance sound.

Akademiks posted a clip to his Instagram account, Drake seemingly responded to the backlash at his listening party last night by telling his fans. “It's all good if you don't get it yet.” Drake said.

He added. “It's all good that's what we do that's what we do we waiting for you to catch up”

On Friday (June 17), Drake released Honestly, Nevermind a 14-track unexpectedly album, less than a year after his landmark Certified Lover Boy record.

His fans are calling this project mall music and Forever 21 memes that have been circulating on the Twitter since last night. In the tweets below, fans are claiming that this is the type of music they would hear while shopping for clothes at a fast-fashion staple like H&M.

Drake really made a album full of songs that you hear in the background of a shopping mall,” Twitter user wrote.

Another user wrote. “I thought Drake was finna rap his ass off. He gave us Forever 21, Hot Topic, H&M ass music 🤦🏾‍♂️”
