Eminem is officially now a grandfather

Hailie Jade Scott's baby's middle name is Marshall after his grandfather.

Eminem can now add grandfather to his list of accomplishments after his daughter Hailie Jade recently gave birth to her first child.

It was revealed on Friday, (April 4), that Eminem‘s daughter Hailie Jade Scott shared photos of her newborn baby with her husband Evan McClintock, several weeks after the baby was born on March 14. And the baby’s name honors the rapper. Elliot Marshall. She captioned the photo: "Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little [white heart emoji]."

Scott posted the photo of the baby, in a knitted hoodie in front of a sign with his name: Elliot Marshall McClintock. The newborn is named after his rap icon grandfather, whose birth name is Marshall Mathers.

“happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e 🤍,” Scott captioned the post Friday.

She updated her Instagram followers with pregnant photos along the journey, including one photo she captioned: “so close to meeting baby boy 💙.” For New Year’s she wrote, “Things are going to look so different this time next year & we can’t wait.”

While Eminem has not spoken publicly about the baby’s birth, the rapper shared a clip of himself learning of his daughter’s pregnancy in the video for “Temporary” last year. The video sees him holding up a football jersey with the name “GRANDPA” in the back as he holds up the baby’s sonogram image.
