Eminem a.k.a. Marshall Mathers a.k.a. Slim Shady documentary ‘Stans’ to release in AMC Theaters for Limited Run
Detroit’s rap Icon is releasing a documentary called “STANS,” which focuses on his fans and the phenomenon of fandom surrounding his music. The documentary will be released in AMC theaters for a limited time from August 7th through August 10th. It will also be available to stream internationally on Paramount+ later this year.
The documentary, produced by Eminem himself, examines the intricate relationship between fame, fandom, and the profound impact of his song "Stan" on popular culture. It features interviews with Eminem and his most devoted fans, delving into their experiences and perspectives. "STANS" aims to answer questions about the song "Stan" and explore the phenomenon of superfans.
Directed by Steven Leckart, an Emmy-winning writer and investigative journalist.

“STANS” originates from Eminem’s classic 2000 hit single, "Stan," which featured Dido and sampled the singer's song, "Thank You." The song tells the story of an exceptionally devoted Em fan, who went so far as to murder his devoted wife to prove his devotion to the Detroit native.
Stans will also receive an awards-qualifying one-week run at AMC Empire 25 in New York City's Times Square. Be sure to check your local listings for tickets in your area.
