Ahead of the release of Halle Berry’s Netflix Originals “Bruised,” Oscar winner and iconic actress has crowned Cardi B the "Queen of Hip Hop" at the “Bruised,” premiere on Saturday (November 13).


Halle Berry who is executive producing with Cardi on the soundtrack to her new film, Bruised, praised the Bronx rapper, over the weekend.


The Hollywood star thanked her ”partner-in-crime,” before declaring, “I reached out to Cardi B because she’s the Queen of Hip-Hop.”

In response, “WAP” rapper tweeted that her fans should focus on checking out Berry's new film, which debuts on Netflix, Friday.


“I know how some of you girls like to tussle over this typa childish s***… but ntm on Halle Berry,” she tweeted. “Anyway her movie #BRUISED dropping THAT SHE DIRECTED HERSELF on Netflix on November 24th. The FIRST female rap movie soundtrack!! we produced together out this FRIDAY!”

Halle Berry is playing the lead in the Michelle Rosenfarb–written drama about a woman named Jackie, aka Justice, a disgraced, failed MMA fighter. When her son, whom she abandoned years earlier, returns into her life, Jackie must face off against one of the toughest MMA stars in the world and rise to the challenge of motherhood.


Bruised, is slated to release via Netflix on Nov. 24.
