Boosie Badazz (formerly known as Lil Boosie). The Louisiana rapper turns 37 years-old today (Nov. 14).
Happy Birthday, Boosie Badazz!
Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, made a name for himself in the rap game with his pronounced southern drawl, high-pitched rasp and the urgency of his lyrical style. The Baton Rouge, La. native has been honing his skills since he began rapping at the age of 14 as a member of the group Concentration Camp. He grew to outshine everybody in that group thanks, in part, to his work ethic. He released his debut album, Youngest of da Camp, at the age of 17 in 2000.
Most are familiar to his 2007 hit, "Wipe Me Down," but the Louisiana-born MC has been a staple in Southern hip-hop for more than 20 years. Today, Boosie returns with his new project "Talk Dat Sh*t" Boosie Badazz is celebrating his birthday by giving a gift to fans. The Baton Rouge-bred rapper has released Talk Dat Shit, a follow-up to his Bad Azz Zay collaboration with Zaytoven.
