Jack Harlow will star in a White Men Can’t Jump reboot
The Louisville rapper has been cast in a reboot of ‘WHITE MEN CAN’T JUMP’, his first acting role and will take on the role originally played by Woody Harrelson in the 20th Century Fox movie.
According to Deadline, the 23-year-old was hired “after his first ever screen audition, immediately winning over the filmmakers and execs.” He’ll fill the role Woody Harrelson pioneered in the 1992 original, adding another bullet point to his increasingly impressive résumé.
White Men Can't Jump Reboot will be directed by Calmatic, the music video director who lensed Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road" video, from a script by Kenya Barris and Doug Hall.
The Original film, was written and directed by Ron Shelton, saw Harrelson star across Wesley Snipes as two street basketball players who ultimately join forces to take over courts across Los Angeles.
