Jay-Z & Nas' first-ever collab to hit DSPs Friday, courtesy of Shaquille O’Neal

The first-ever collaboration between JAY-Z and Nas to hit streaming services this Friday. The collaboration was on “No Love Lost,” which was supposed to be on Shaq’s third album, You Can’t Stop The Reign.

Former NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal’s third rap album 'You Can’t Stop The Reign' set to hit digital streaming platforms on Friday.

Shaq is currently gearing up to drop his third studio album, You Can't Stop The Reign, on DSPs. The highly anticipated moment is scheduled for this Friday (June 28), nearly two decades after the LP's original 1996 release. Fans are certainly eager to get to listen to it on their respective favorite platforms, and fortunately, the former NBA star will also be providing them with some exciting unreleased material.

The album “No Love Lost” will feature the original version of his track "No Love Lost," which features both Nas and Jay-Z. Moreover, this was the duo's first-ever collab, making it a truly historical track.

Over 20 years ago, an unmastered track called “No Love Lost” which featured the two rap legends, as well as Shaq and Lord Tariq, floated around the internet but fans were unsure if the collaboration was real given the heated feud between Hov and Nas at the time.

According to Hip-hop blogger Andrew Barber, the single will be available on streaming this Friday as part of Shaq’s album. You can get a tease of the release below.
